We have been associated with Karkare academy for more than a decade now. Both my son and daughter attended the class right from the early standards. My sons mental math and calculating capacities are excellent. Sirs insistence on learning multiplication tables, square roots etc really helped to imbibe these concepts in their brain. My son got gold medals in Pradnya - pravinya and also cracked in all competitive math exams like olympiads and Asset only because of the Karkare Academy training. They insist on teaching them the practical aspects of maths instead of rote learning so this helped their calculation speed not only in math but also in physics and chemistry calculations. Each student should definitely attend their classes to strengthen their math foundation. My son is a Bombay Scottish topper and gets almost full marks in every math exam because sir has trained them to avoid silly mistakes in calculation. Sir reminds me of the typical gurus from old times who teach for the love of the knowledge rather than the commercial aspects. My son has also been taught by Mugdha who is successfully handling the mantle of the class and adding the new generation flavour to it. I have seen the loving grandfather side of Karkare sir when Mugdha delivered her first son at our ASHVINI Maternity hospital in Dadar and have interacted with them on a close level as their child’s pediatrician. It’s a joy to come across such a loving, disciplined and cultured family who have achieved great heights but are still grounded to their roots. My name is Jignyasu Chasmawala. I am an alumnus of Balmohan Vidyamandir, Shivaji Park, Dadar. I enrolled in Karkare Academy when I was in Class 5 to prepare for the Pravinya and Pradnya Math competitive exams. I cleared both these exams due to the excellent teaching and guidance of Karkare Sir. After that, there was no looking back and I remained with Karkare Academy until Class 8 which, at the time, was the last class that Karkare Sir taught. Due to the excellent foundation provided by Karkare Academy, I was able to do well in higher classes too. This helped me to do well in the JEE, the All India competitive exam for engineering. As a result, I managed to secure a seat in the Computer Science Engineering branch at the Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati . I graduated from IIT Guwahati with a B Tech (CSE) and subsequently prepared for CAT, the All India Test for MBA aspirants, since I wanted to apply my background in CSE to the field of Finance. I scored an excellent percentile in CAT and received interview calls from all the major IIMs of the country, including IIM Ahmedabad. I did well in the interviews too and was offered admission to almost all IIMs, including IIM Ahmedabad. However, I opted for IIM Calcutta because it is known as the Finance campus of the country and, currently, I'm in the Final Year of the MBA program at IIM Calcutta with specialization in Finance. During the first year of my MBA, I was offered an internship by a major Finance firm in Mumbai. I spent 2 months of the summer break after my 1st year of MBA with them. They were happy with my skill sets and made me a placement offer at the end of the internship which I gladly accepted. I owe a major part of my academic success to Karkare Academy which laid the foundations of my skill sets without which I never could have achieved whatever I have till date.

Arnav Vijay I had the fabulous opportunity to be mentored by Karkare Sir for my 7th std scholarship exam preparation. Karkare sir - a small stature with a tall personality ! Our son , Swayamj has been under Karkare Sir’s guidance from Std 5 . He scored 98.6 in grade 10 and is now preparing for JEE advanced. While he was studying some concepts in grade 11, he actually told me that some of the base-concepts of math in JEE advanced were already taught by Karkare sir way back in his 7th grade and in a fun yet fundamental way! I joined Karkare Academy as a fourth grader as part of my Scholarship exam preparation. Right from day one I thoroughly enjoyed the optimistic environment in the class and the fun way in which Karkare Sir taught us math. My name is Shantanu Gulgule, and I currently work as a firmware developer at Intel Corporation. I was part of Karkare academy in grade 7 and grade 8, and this experience is what kickstarted my journey in engineering. Karkare Academy challenged me to think out of the box, and played a pivotal role in developing critical thinking skills under a time constraint, that I used in later examinations such as JEE and SAT. Our children enjoyed attending lectures of Mahendra Karkare Sir. They loved his way of teaching. He made the subject interesting with his famous tips and tricks.
